Expectations: The want or need to control the outcome of a given situation.
A strong belief that something will happen or be the case in the future.
A belief that someone will or should do or say something or behave in a certain way.
Expectations lead only to disappointment. When we have conversations in our head to try and create scenarios about how things may or may not play out. They are driven by FEAR and will try to scare us into remaining where we are or forcing us to miss opportunities or sabotage ourselves.
